Epsilon3 Changelog #3: Media Attachments, Substeps, and Performance Improvements

New! Media Attachments

  • Add photos or block diagrams in-line to procedure steps during editing

  • Add documents or any file type as attachments to any location within a procedure

  • Drag and drop files from your computer into any comment section of a running procedure

    • Photos will be displayed as a small thumbnail

    • Documents will be displayed as a link that can be opened in a new tab

New! Substep Checkboxes

  • Field inputs now support a “Checkbox” type for checking off substeps

  • This feature was requested for items that do not require a full-blown step but must be tracked within the procedure


Improvements:

  • Step content can now be dragged to reorder

  • While editing or creating a procedure, you can now interim save your progress with a Save button

  • Easily duplicate steps or substep items with a Duplicate button, saving a lot of time during editing

  • Improved the performance of the procedure edit page, making it noticeably faster

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue to constrain sending commands to the required operator role

  • Fixed an issue to ensure a running procedure’s operation tag is shown to all collaborators

  • Fixed password reset functionality

  • Fixed session authentication configuration to improve login/logout experience

  • Fixed an issue related to content overflows when editing procedures

  • Fixed an issue to ensure operation name is searchable on the home page
