Epsilon3 Changelog #6: Skip Step, Table Inputs, and Versions

Read below about the latest Epsilon3 product updates. Thank you all for your feedback and support. We love receiving it and look forward to your continued thoughts and suggestions!

New! Skip Step/Procedure

Skip Step or Procedure.jpg
  • Sometimes you want to finish a step with an explicit “incomplete” in order to move progress along without performing the actions of the step.

  • You can now “Skip” a step, which will mark it as such in the procedure and be included in the progress bar on the home page and the procedure’s run page.

  • Skip is restricted to only operators who have the ability to sign off on a step.

  • Additionally, if you end a procedure it will automatically skip all incomplete steps within the procedure.

New! Table Inputs

  • If you want to capture multiple field inputs at a time, there is now a much cleaner and improved way to do this.

  • Add a table into your procedure when editing, and log all inputs in a single place.

New! Versions

Versions.jpg
  • You can now manually set the version of the procedure you’re editing.

    • This will default to today’s date but can be manually changed to whatever you’d like.

  • NOTE: This is the first step towards facilitating a review/release process.

New! Duplicate Procedure

  • If you have a procedure you’d like to have as a starting point for a new procedure, simply utilize the “Duplicate” button, and you’ll instantly get a copy of that procedure as your starting point.

New & Improved! Redline 2.0

Redline Re-work.jpg
  • Redline (“Suggest edits”) now supports notes, caution, warning, and field inputs.

    • NOTE: For field inputs, you can change the text but not the field input type with redline.

Improvements:

  • New! Telemetry Range Check: Rather than simple math operators like <, >, and =, you can now utilize more complex logic when evaluating telemetry and define a range (e.g., 5 < telemetry < 3).

  • Epsilon3 browser tab names now show the name of the procedure or page you are viewing.

  • Added skip step counter to progress bar on home page, linked procedures, and as-run procedures for all new runs.

Fixes:

  • Fixed redlines to properly show on as-run procedures

  • Fixed Intercom chat/feedback widget to properly attribute sessions to logged in users

  • Fixed an error in search/filter to allow searching by percent complete

  • Released design updates to make procedures more readable and show status when steps are collapsed
