Hot Off the Press:

TL;DR:

  • Compare Procedure Versions

  • Batch Builds

  • Actions on Issues (CAPA)

  • Comment Column in Tables

  • Custom Inventory Field

New! Compare Procedure Versions

  • In addition to being able to view previous versions, you can now compare any two versions of a procedure to see exactly what changes have been made.

  • Coming soon: Compare two completely different procedures. In the meantime, you can do this by manually updating the procedure ID and version in the webpage URL.

New! Batch Builds

  • Build multiple assemblies concurrently in the same run using the new Batch Builds feature.

  • Any procedure with a bill of materials can now be configured to have batch steps. Batch steps allow you to run multiple concurrent instances of a step in the same run.

  • Easily map which components go into each assembly using the tabs in each batch step.

New! Actions on Issues (CAPA)

  • Define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for issues to identify, analyze, resolve, and prevent problems that impact runs, parts, items, or orders.

  • After creating an issue, edit it to add actions, including markdown-supported text blocks and sign-offs. Operators can sign off once the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) have been completed for active issues.

New! Comment Column in Tables

  • Associate comments with table rows by adding a dedicated comment column.

  • Table comments can be added at any time in the run life cycle, even after the step or the run is ended. They’ll also be visible in the run summary.

  • Help Center Article

New! Custom Inventory Field

  • Update inventory item detail values during procedure runs.

  • At procedure authoring time, specify parts that require input, and then log values during the run, linking each value to an associated serial or lot number.

Improvements:

  • API for retrieving purchase orders

Fixes:

  • Fixed the signoff cell not being initialized correctly when adding a new row with multiple signoff columns

  • Fixed that clearing a lot number wouldn’t appear in real-time for all viewers of the run
