Epsilon3 Changelog #11: Dependent Steps, Undo, and Procedure Close Status
We are here for you, and we love hearing your feedback and look forward to diving into how you’re using Epsilon3! Please feel free to send any and all feedback to us. Below are the new features we’ve been working on and are excited to release. All are directly from your feedback, so please keep it coming!
New! Step Dependence
You asked, we listened. You can now require previous steps to be completed before actions are allowed to be taken on the next step.
You must enable “Requires Previous Step” when editing the procedure
When running the procedure, you’ll also see a note when “Requires Previous Step” has been selected to communicate when the prior step needs to be completed first
The first step in any section can’t require previous step completion as it operates within a single section only for now.
NOTE: This is the first step in more functionality in Step Dependence.
New! Undo/Redo & Sticky Nav Bar
Nobody’s perfect, so we’ve added the ability to Undo and Redo actions you take while editing a procedure.
The Save and Close buttons are now in a sticky top nav bar, so no more scrolling to the bottom to save.
New! Procedure End Status
You’ll now have the ability to select an ending status when you complete a procedure and sort/filter on that status from your Run History tab.
Available statuses are Success, Abort, and Failure.
New! Quickly Find Edit Errors
You don’t need to go on a scavenger hunt to find procedure edit errors anymore.
You can now quickly jump to the next error when editing your procedure. This helps you find where you may have left required fields blank!
Happy editing!
