Epsilon3 Changelog #15: Offline Comments and Attachments, Fancy Headers, Redline Step Name

Read about the latest Epsilon3 product updates. We’d love to hear from you about what you love and what else you need.

Epsilon3 exists so you don't have to leave your mission at risk for "trivial, and sometimes embarrassing, human errors." Check out this brief history of space missions lost to human errors by Jatan Mehta.

New! Offline Text Comments and Attachments

  • Add comments and attachments anywhere you are, whether online or offline, and watch them sync when you get back online.

  • Remember that all comments and attachments are unique, so any comment from anyone whether online or offline will be saved and displayed.

  • This is the next step in full offline capability based on feedback we heard from you.

New! Fancy Headers for Procedures

  • Add as much (or as little) detail as you want into your procedure header.

  • Add text, cautions, warnings, or notes to display all pertinent information and background information for each procedure.

New! Suggest Edits for Step Names

  • This one speaks for itself! You can now suggest edits (make “redlines”) for step names.

  • As before, procedure editors can review and approve changes to step names.

New! Improved Step Sign-off Experience

  • Polished the step sign-off experience. The sign-off area is easier to use, with sign-off timestamps moved to the bottom of the completed step.

  • Actions are now listed in a “mini timeline” within the step, starting with step sign-off actions.

Improvements

  • Timestamps are now cleaner and easier to read. We removed the unnecessary “T” in the middle of all timestamps.

Fixes

  • Fixed sorting on the Homepage dashboard for the “Start Time” column.

  • Fixed issue that prevented creating or editing projects on the Settings page in some cases.

  • Fixed an edge case where user access levels weren’t displaying correctly when editing.

  • Fixed an issue that affected multiple operator edits in some cases.
