Epsilon3 awarded SpaceWERX Orbital Prime Contract

Epsilon3 has been awarded a Phase 1 STTR under the SpaceWERX Orbital Prime Program

Epsilon3 announces it has been selected by SpaceWERX for an STTR Phase I in the amount of $250,000 to investigate how its software platform might enable In-space Service Assembly and Manufacturing (ISAM) capabilities being explored by the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and United States Space Force (USSF) through the Orbital Prime program.  Orbital Prime was created to accelerate the commercial ISAM market toward a use case of Active Debris Remediation. The Air Force Research Laboratory and SpaceWERX have partnered to streamline the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) process by accelerating the small business experience through a faster proposal to award timelines, changing the pool of potential applicants by expanding opportunities to small business and losing bureaucratic overhead by continually implementing process improvement changes in contract execution. The DAF began offering 'The Open Topic' SBIR/STTR program in 2018 which expanded the range of innovations the DAF funded and now on 17 August 2022, Epsilon3 will start its journey to create and provide innovative capabilities that will strengthen the national defense of the United States of America.

About Epsilon3, Inc.
Epsilon3 arms space operators with the latest evolution of user-friendly digital tools that take a program from conception to operations. Our solution for complex operations is an online procedure management tool that boosts operations efficiency and performance over time with detailed metrics and reports. This software platform enables organizations to create electronic procedures through the use of application programming interfaces (APIs) while integrating telemetry, command and control functions, timelines, historical and real-time data visualization, and software tracking, combined with verification and validation software attributes.

For space mission operators who need to track complex On-orbit, Servicing, Assembly and Manufacturing (OSAM) procedures and critical mission data, Epsilon3 is a next-level web-based platform that saves time and money and improves quality and communication. Unlike simple documents or generic project management tools, Epsilon3 is tailor-made for OSAM operations and provides an enhanced user experience. Procedure and data management is just the starting point; Epsilon3 is the platform that will power all OSAM operations through a full software stack specialized for the US Space Force’s complex needs.
