Epsilon3 Changelog #33: Pause Comment, Delete Draft, Repeatable Decision Tree

We are pleased to announce that Epsilon3 has been awarded a Phase 1 STTR under the SpaceWERX Orbital Prime Program!

We’re also excited to get a fresh release of Epsilon3 in your hands with more requested features! We continue to improve on our conditional flows and can now help you clean your master procedure list with the ability to delete a draft.

We often get asked about our roadmap, so we wanted to share where the team is looking to improve our product for you over the next few months:

  • Improvements to app navigation and visual refreshes.

  • Project permissions and access controls. Expect us to iterate quickly on these!

  • Substep syncing with multiple operators. Keep the team coordinated on long steps.

  • Improved redline processing. They will be saved until you accept/reject.

  • Running procedure notifications. Let your team know when you need them.

  • Improvements to Snippets. Edit once and see everywhere!

  • Additional conditional cases using Telemetry and Numerical inputs

  • Ability to archive (run history, projects, operations, snippets, etc.)

  • Cleaner procedure printouts. Enhancements to our definable automated summaries.

  • Training/Practice mode. Be able to work in your draft procedures without saving

  • Operations library. Plan ahead of time and start when the team is ready.

By no means is this an exhaustive list, and we look forward to continuing to deliver these improvements and new functionality.  As always, please let us know your thoughts and needs.

We’re in Paris this week, so please reach out if you are at IAC and available to meet in person!

New! Delete Drafts

  • You can delete procedures that are currently either in review or are drafts.

  • This will help declutter your environment and provide a better user experience and focus on procedures drafts that are still relevant.

New! Pause Run Comments

  • You can now add an optional comment when pausing runs.

  • The pause comment will be displayed on the pause banner with the user and timestamp.

  • Look out for exporting pause comments in upcoming releases.

New! External Data - Validity

  • Users can define parameters such as {valid} or {url} in their external data items which will reflect during their run procedure.

  • Users now who are running the procedure will have greater clarity for external data items.

Improved! Repeatable Decision Trees

  • We’ve added the ability to repeat decisions for steps with optional sign-offs.

  • This allows new paths within the decision tree to be accessed by modifying a previous conditional step selection.

  • If a step has been completed which is affected by the new decision, the green background will be removed to indicate an updated path. However, all prior completion status and timestamps are preserved.

Improvements

  • Go to first change in reviewers component

  • Markdown support in Release Notes.

  • Show historical selection of conditions

  • Show all field inputs in run analytics

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug related to autosave

  • Fixed a crash when going into review sometimes.

  • Fixed a bug where tables were not updating for all users when a user signed a step off with table data.
